HAMTRAMCK, Mich. — One of Sterling’s strongest community partners is the Hamtramck Fire Department. In 2019, Sterling Services continued their long history of helping their neighbors by sponsoring a lane at the firehouse’s annual Ugly Sweater Fowling event. Sterling’s relationship with the department dates back to 1986.
The event raised money for the Hamtramck firefighters and their company as they create differenent events each year to help with their fire house. In past years, the Hamtramck Firefighters hosted Haunted Fowling in October. This year, they pushed the date back to the December for an annual holiday theme party, Ugly Sweaters.
The money raised at this event helps a fire department that has been stricken with a tightened budget in Hamtramck, meaning this fundraiser is vital to the company so they can continue to keep the residents safe.
